Project 2: Chop and Transpose
Here is my second project with FL Studio. I tried much harder this time then on my last project, trying to get the best sound, and i think that i eventually made it perfect. I was inspired by a mix of rock bands, such as: Avenged Sevenfold, Sum 41, Rise Against, etc. I experimented with the Boo Bass, Slayer, and FPC, to get the instruments to go well with each other, and to get a catchy sound. I used the chop and transpose tools to create my guitar and bass riffs. I also used a Tom for a simple background beat to keep it interesting. I also made the audio levels appropriate for each each instrument. This song is basically made up of 3 guitar riffs, 2 of them which use the transpose tool. I have 3 bass riffs. I have 3 different drum loops that are playing in the background for almost the whole song. Lastly, I used the automation clip tool to create a fade out at the end so it doesn't end so abruptly. In the end, i think i created a very catchy song, and I'm pretty proud of it.

Project 1
My First Project For Music Tech Class. It contains a simple drum beat, and i think it's pretty creative. It's seven measures long and lasts for 14 seconds. I used a simple kick sound and a cool snare sound that i found in one of the drum kits. I also changed the audio levels for certain sounds, made certain sounds come out different sides through the left and right, and it makes it much more pleasurable to listen to. I was inspired by the dance genre overall, and that's pretty much it. So here it is, enjoy!
