Project 4 progress

I'm having a bit of trouble with project 4 lately. For some reason, i can't decide on what i want to do for the song in general. I have a synthesizer riff but I'm confused on how I'm going to get sounds that go along with it. Once i get the song flowing, i'll be on my way to finishing it.

Project 3: Automation

This project ended up a lot differently than I thought it would. At first I wanted to make various patterns for the SimSynth and sort of blend them together, but instead I ended up having one catchy pattern that transposes. I also didn't think (at first) my main pattern was good, but then I realized that it actually fit very well. I was inspired by the dance/electronic genre. I experimented with the SimSynth. Used basic kick drums, hat, and snares for a background sound. I also used a crash to create a bang when you enter a new sound. I tried to time the filters of the SimSynth riff I had to fit fell with the song. I really didn't expect too much of this song, but I think it turned out to be pretty good.
